Early Morning-Fremont Older Park

I started my hike on this trail very early.  The sky was cloudy from the morning fog and when I reached this part of the path, the sun was just beginning to show through casting this ethereal light on the path just ahead.

Everywhere it was so green with spring and bright yellow flowers surrounding me.

In painting this scene, I wanted to re-create the softness of the early morning that I experienced while hiking.  Instead of the sharp vertical and horizontal angles I usually paint, I softened the edges of the lines and made them smaller.
